Fruit Jellies

Wild Chokecherries, Wild Plums and Wild Sandcherries are all native to the
Nebraska Sandhills. They grow wild along road ditches, in
pastures and along the Birdwood Creek. They both bloom white
blooms in the spring. If Mother Nature delivers a late frost,
the crop will be lost. They are hand picked in August. |

Pepper Glazes

You can use pepper glazes any place you would use a barbeque
sauce. They are wonderful brushed over any meat when grilling.
They give it a spicy-sweet flavor, with just a little kick.
Try serving over cocktail franks or meatballs. Mix with yogurt
for a salad dressing. For an unusual dessert, drizzle over
cheesecake or ice cream. Check out our
recipe page
for more ideas. |

Fruit Syrups

Sandhill Cowboy’s syrup is made from a blend of wild
chokecherries and wild plums. They are both picked in the
Nebraska Sandhills at their peak flavor. It makes for a
tantalizing flavor. Use over pancakes, waffles, or biscuits.
Try using as a dessert topping over cheesecake or ice cream. |
